This blog page will be updated with items regarding the proposed development at Oldway Road.

Wellington Without Parish Council will be objecting to this proposal and following the Council meeting of 6th January the official response to the proposal will be formulated and submitted to Somerset Council.

Planning Permission Refused

On Thursday 30th April, Somerset Council refused permission for application 44/25/0013

Eight specific reasons were cited for rejection, and you can view the offical document published by the Council at the Somerset Planning Portal, or by following this link to a copy on our own website.

Wellington Without Parish Council strongly objected to the proposed development, along with Wellington Town Council and many members of the public, and we regard this as an important, highly significant, and most welcome decision by the Planning Officer.

Finally, please note, that Pegasus Planning Group have the right to appeal, and should there be further developments we shall continue to keep this website updated.

Extended – Public Consultation Deadline

Should you wish to comment on the application then you have until Friday 16th to do so. UPDATE: *** This date has now been extended by a minimum of three weeks to Friday 6th February*** – Comments received after the deadline may not be taken into account.
